π Getting Started (3 Easy Steps)
1. Login
Click "Login with Autodesk" in the top right. You'll use your regular Autodesk account.
2. Choose Your Data Source
In the left sidebar, pick ACC for construction project data (RFIs, submittals, drawings, etc.) or EganHub (beta) for procurement and purchase data (POs, vendors, jobs). You can switch between them anytimeβeach keeps its own chat.
3. For ACC: Pick a Project (or Global Search)
See your projects below the data source? Click one to focus on that job. Or flip the Global Search toggle to compare across all projects.
4. Ask Away!
Type your question in natural language. Try:
"How many open RFIs?"
"Show me overdue submittals"
"Total PO value by vendor"
π‘ Pro Tip: Suggested questions appear above the chatβclick any one to try it instantly!
π Data Sources: ACC & EganHub
The app has two data sources in the left sidebar:
- ACC β Autodesk Construction Cloud. Project-centric: RFIs, submittals, drawings, issues, work packages, Material Matrix, AI Review. Requires selecting a project (or using Global Search).
- EganHub (beta) β Egan Data Hub / PurchasePoint. Procurement and purchase data: purchase orders, vendors, jobs, invoices, tools. No project required; just switch to the EganHub tab and ask.
Chat history is kept separate per source. Switching between ACC and EganHub does not clear either conversation.
π EganHub (Beta)
EganHub lets you query procurement and purchase data from Egan Data Hub using natural language. It's a beta featureβwe're still refining it.
How to Use
- In the left sidebar, click EganHub (beta).
- No project selection is needed. Just type your question in the chat.
- The AI uses tools to explore tables, run queries, and return summaries (e.g. tables, charts, key insights).
What You Can Ask
"Total purchase order value by vendor"
"Open or in-progress POs"
"Top vendors by PO count"
"POs created this month"
"What tables are available?"
"Describe the purchase_order table"
Features
- Reasoning (folded by default): Each response has a "Reasoning" section you can expand to see the steps and tool calls the AI used.
- SQL Queries Used (folded by default): At the end of the answer, a "SQL Queries Used" section lists every SQL query that was runβhandy for auditing or reuse.
- Suggested queries: EganHub has its own set of suggested questions (e.g. POs this month, open POs, top vendors) above the input.
π‘ Beta note: If something doesnβt work as expected or you have ideas, weβd love to hear from you.

π¦ Work Packages & Linear Feet
When you select a project, check the right sidebar for work packages.
How to Use:
- Select a project (single project mode)
- Look at the right sidebar for work packages
- Search: Type in the search box - it matches work package names and codes (prefix matching prioritized)
- Select Individual: Check the box next to any work package to select it
- Select All: Use the "Select All" checkbox at the top to quickly select all visible work packages
- Calculate Aggregated LF: Click "π Calculate LF" to see combined totals for all selected work packages:
- Total LF of Pipe
- Total LF Installed
- Percentage Completion
- Total Number of Spools
- Individual Query: Click "π Query Linear Feet" on a single work package for detailed view
- Download: Click "π₯ Download" to get everything - all files, RFIs, submittals in one ZIP
π‘ Pro Tips:
- Prefix Matching: Type "DIW-A6" to quickly find all work packages starting with that code
- Batch Calculation: Select multiple work packages and click "Calculate LF" to see aggregated totals in one window
- Selection Count: The selection counter shows how many work packages you've selected
- Clear Previous: When using "Select All" again, you'll be prompted to clear previous selections if needed
- Progress Tracking: During batch calculations, you'll see "X/Y sent, Z/Y completed" to track progress
Aggregated Linear Feet Calculation
When you select multiple work packages and click "π Calculate LF", you'll see:
- Aggregated Totals: Combined metrics across all selected work packages
- Individual Breakdown: A detailed table showing each work package's contribution
- Completion Status: Visual indicators for work packages with missing data
The calculation automatically handles rate limiting and waits for all data to be ready before showing results.
π Material Matrix
Extract and organize material specifications from project spec documents into a structured Excel spreadsheet. The system uses AI to identify systems, components, and materials and fills matrix tabs by spec section.
How to Use:
- Select a project (single project mode only; Features are not available in Global Search mode)
- Click the "Features" button in the top right (highlighted when a project is selected)
- Choose "2. Material Matrix" from the dropdown in the right sidebar
- Search for spec files: Use the search box to filter specification documents by name (partial match)
- Select spec files: Check the boxes next to the files to include. You can select up to 100 files (max 100 per run). Use Select All to select all visible (filtered) specs, up to the limit
- Generate Matrix: Click "π Generate Matrix". The button shows "β³ Generating..." while processing
- Processing steps: The system will:
- Download and parse the selected spec files
- Extract material information using AI (by system, component type, and size)
- Organize data into tabs (e.g., by piping system or material category)
- Generate an Excel file with multiple tabs
- Download: When complete, use the download button to save the Excel file
Supported File Formats
- PDF: Full text extraction and parsing
- TXT: Plain text
- DOC/DOCX: Word document text extraction
π‘ Pro Tips:
- Search: Type part of a filename to narrow the list
- Max 100 files: Each run supports up to 100 spec files; the UI shows "X selected (max 100)"
- Processing time: Large or many files can take several minutes
- Excel tabs: Output is organized by system/category; the AI follows a structured derivation method (system spec, components, submittals)
π€ AI Review
Ask questions about project files and get AI-powered answersβor get an automatic summary first, then ask follow-ups. Supports documents (PDF, Word, text) and images/video (multimodal analysis).
How to Use:
- Select a project (single project mode only)
- Click the "Features" button in the top right, then choose "3. AI Review" from the right sidebar dropdown
- Load files: The file list loads from the project. Use the search box to filter by filename or path (partial match)
- Select files: Check the boxes next to the files you want to review. Use Select All if needed. The total file count is shown
- Choose one of two flows:
- With a question: Type your question in the chat box at the bottom and click Send. The system downloads and processes the selected files, then answers your question directly (no summary first).
- Without a question: Click Send with the chat box empty. The system processes the files and generates an automatic summary. You can then ask follow-up questions in the same chat about those files.
- Processing: Youβll see status steps (e.g. "Processing N file(s)...", "Analyzing files and generating answer..." or "Generating summary..."). Large or many files may take a minute or more
Supported File Formats
- Documents (text extraction + AI): PDF, TXT, DOCX
